Two years ago I went to Monroe Correctional Facility as a volunteer to help train six inmates to participate in a TedX event, Behind Bars. The experience changed my life forever. Since then I have been a volunteer and sponsor of Toastmaster clubs at the facility and have witnessed how these men have been transformed by rewriting their stories. In this Blab, I share my experience with others.
